The Pentecostalism, or Pentecostal movement, was born in the United States of America in 19. century, and puts a special emphasis on the gift of the Holy Ghost, and the exercise of the gifts it offers. This doctrine is common to all Pentecostal Evangelical churches that recognize as the primary source of faith solely the teachings of the Bible (Old and New Testament), and claim the Church's missionary nature, the universal priesthood and the second coming of Christ. The aim of this work is a reconstruction of the history of Italian Evangelical Christian churches, known as "Assemblee di Dio in Italia".
