Bettio, Martina (2011) Nanodiscs as a tool to study protein-membrane interactions. [Laurea specialistica biennale]
Per questo documento il full-text online non disponibile.
The goal of this thesis project was the production of artificial lipids membranes, termed nanodiscs. Nanodiscs are suitable for the insertion of membrane proteins, and hence, for their study in a native-like environment. Nanodiscs are composed of a lipid bilayer surrownded by two membrane scaffold proteins (MSPs)
