After pork meat, the most diffused meat is poultry meat. The production of poultry meat is the most increasing development sector and its importance at global level it's of 33%. The success of poultry meat is due to many reasons: great price/quality ratio, excellent nutritional profile, safety and quality meat, respecting the environment and with low energy impact. The fact that its consumption doesn't violate any religious precept also contributes to its diffusion all over the world.
