Pattori, Andrea (2014) The flavor problem in composite higgs models. [Magistrali biennali]

The hierarchy problem is an old-standing problem in particle physics, new physics at the tev scale being the most quoted solution to it. Here, after having reviewed how flavor physics can be used to put stringent bounds on new physics models, the composite higgs models are thoroughly described. Then,a simplified composite higgs model (a two-site model) is used to explicitly compute observables in flavor physics,to be compared with the experimental results.
