This thesis focuses on the identification of the paleo-path of the Tagliamento river in its final stretch, expecially in the area between the town of Portogruaro and the coastal cities of Caorle and Bibione. The work was carried out within the project Risve - "Seismic Risk in the Province of Venice" conducted by the National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics of Trieste (INOGS) in collaboration with the Department of Geosciences at the University of Padua. More than 60 HVSR stations were measured. Data were processed by INOGS, leading to the creation of thematic maps representing different seismic parameters. The data were then processed for the purpose of constructing a geoseismic model in order to identify changes in values of amplification and velocity connected to the differentiation of sedimentary facies in the subsurface. The data were presented in thematic maps that might provide new elements for the identification of the main ancient flows of Tagliamento river.
