Lycium barbarum L., commonly called goji, is a bushy perennial plant that belongs to the family solanaceae and is native to Asian countries. For the sensory and instrumental analysis of dried goji berries six commercial brands were purchased. 59 consumers were selected for the sensory analysis. The test used was the QDA (Quantitative Descriptive Analysis) with an "internal reference" to calibrate the sensory scale of Judges. At the same time physical and chemical analyzes were made to compare the sensory data to analytical data. Then a statistical analysis was carried out. Significant differences were found between brands of goji berries.
