Cisplatin is a widely used drug in solid cancer therapy, including ovarian cancer. Here we characterize SKOV-3 metabolism looking for a correlation with cisplatin resistance focusing on glutamine. We evidence a metabolic reprogramming in SKOV-3-R wich is not responsiblefor the acquired resistance. We finally identify DNA repair mechanism as main responsible of the resistance.
