It is known that electric fields could modify cell function and tissue physiology. Quantum Molecular Resonance (QMR), consisting in low intensity-high frequency oscillating electrical fields, gained attention for the clinical use from surgery to regenerative medicine. In this study, the effect of this technology on human endometrial function was evaluated both in terms of cytotoxicity and in terms of gene expression. The effect was first evaluated the cytotoxicity (LDH release) and gene expression of genes involved in embryo implantation on Ishikawa cells. Then the effect was evaluated in ex-vivo sample.
