Abstract

The classic statistical approach based on the modeling of failure through probability assumptions has nowadays become of little relevance, as the complexity of the systems has reached high levels. The use and analysis of a large number of data from the field has made it possible to introduce in this field data processing techniques typical of the world of artificial intelligence, such as machine learning and deep learning.
