This work is focused on the synthesis, characterization and validation of semisynthetic hydrogels with a gelatin base of animal origin, functionalized with methacrylic groups. A combination of different materials, both natural and synthetic, with gelatin methacrylate is also investigated. These composite materials will be used as biocompatible inks for printing three-dimensional structures in order to study Neuroblastoma tumor cells in a 3D environment.

Abstract

This work is focused on the synthesis, characterization and validation of semisynthetic hydrogels with a gelatin base of animal origin, functionalized with methacrylic groups. A combination of different materials, both natural and synthetic, with gelatin methacrylate is also investigated. These composite materials will be used as biocompatible inks for printing three-dimensional structures in order to study Neuroblastoma tumor cells in a 3D environment.
